North Central Public Power District is pleased to announce that rates will not increase in 2023. During this time when everything seems to be increasing in cost, North Central PPD is proud to be able to keep your rates stable. The District is constantly analyzing costs and efficiencies and through these efforts is able to continue to keep your rates stable and affordable. This is just one way that Public Power is working for its customers. Although we can’t guarantee rates will remain the same forever, you can rest assured that North Central PPD will continue to work diligently to keep electric rates affordable. For those who currently receive a Production Cost Adjustment (PCA), you will notice on your February bill, that you receive in March, a reduction in the PCA. This credit that North Central PPD receives from its power supplier has been reduced. However, it is still passed through to the customer at the same rate that North Central PPD receives it. This will result in a smaller credit applied to each customer’s individual bill.
