Dear North Central Public Power District customer,

Several weeks of non-stop news coverage of the effects of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) has been a wearing ordeal. So many of the daily routines that we had taken for granted have been turned on their head. We, at North Central Public Power District, have been working and adapting to this new world. At North Central we have strived to provide our customers with electricity and service that continues to provide a base of normalcy in your everyday life. Although we have changed some of our face to face contact at our offices in Creighton, North Central still provides the same prompt service that you have come to expect.

As an update on our daily functionality, we have made several changes to the way we operate. The operations department has staggered the start times of each crew to avoid cross contamination. The inside customer service people have used social distancing and a lot of disinfection and frequent hand washing to keep healthy and available for your daily customer service. As an added precaution we have restricted access to our office. Payments can still be dropped off at the payment boxes on the building near the front door or in the payment drop box located along the parking lot. If you have other customer service needs, you may call in or come into the entry foyer to converse with a customer service representative via our intercom. Currently, no access is allowed into the building.

We are sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause but we want to ensure your health and the health of our employees so that they will be available for any of your electric service needs.

We realize that some of our customers have been directly impacted in their employment. We encourage our customers to try to keep your bill as current as you can, but we are flexible in providing time for you to make arrangements for payment. If you need assistance, please call our office and our customer service people can help you find resources.

We are hoping that this finds you and yours healthy. We have come so far, and we hope that this ordeal will be over very soon.

Sincerely,

Doyle Hazen

General Manager
